"The Plan of God - Work It Out" - Pastor Kemi (G.O.)
Pursuing The Plans of God - Jeremiah 29:11-13
Whatever God says we should do, that is His plan for us; a plan which we have all broken at some point in our lives (Exodus 20).
On top of that, His master-plan for us is to love Him and serve Him with all our heart and soul (Deuteronomy 6:5; 10:12-13, 20-21; 11:13-15, 22-25; 1 Samuel 12:24).
The primary love of God should supersede every other layer of love you have for people. If you don't love people, the master-plan of God cannot be working in your life.
The master-plan of God should shape the plans you have for your own life. If not, your plans will be contrary to God's plan for your life.Become the master-plan, meditate on it, carry it all around with you.
Once your life has been shaped by the master-plan of God, His specific plan will follow. You will also be able to discern between your plans and His plans.
Jacob, Joseph, David, Solomon, and Jeremiah all had specific plans of God operating in their lives (Genesis 25:21-23, 37:6-11; 1 Samuel 16:1; 2 Samuel 7:12-15, 12:24-25; Jeremiah 1:4-5).
The thoughts and plans of God for the children of Israel was for them to build houses and plant gardens (Jeremiah 29:4-8, 11-13). That word was sent to all of them, but not all followed the word, even though that was the plan of God for them.
Somewhere along the line, the plan of God failed for them, either because they did not receive the word as for them, or because they didn't feel they could achieve it. God has a plan for your life, but that does not mean that you yourself will follow the plan.
God made His thoughts and plans for Israel plain and clear; they needed no interpretation. He even gave them the clue to enjoying those plans; simply to call on Him and seek Him (Jeremiah 29:11-12).
God's plan for our life is the reason and purpose for our existence. He has a plan for everyone that is born. On top of that, we have plans for our own life, our family and friends may also have plans for us.
There is a master-plan of God for everyone who is born no matter who they are or where they were born.
