The “Good News” is that there is a God who wants to give you a better way of living now, and when you die, everlasting life! God wants you to know for certain whether or not you have eternal life. How can you know? Because you have it in writing from God in His Word...

God loves you! You’re very important to Him. In fact, you have His very own image! (Genesis 1:27) He wants you to live a full life in peace with Him and to receive eternal life. Just as God wants the best for you in life here on earth, and after you die, eternal life in heaven, Satan wants the worst for you in life here on earth and in hell where he lives, where you will go if you reject the gospel of Jesus Christ! Just as life and death are two basic facts that you cannot deny, heaven and hell are also two basic facts that you cannot deny.

Satan is the enemy of God. Satan is a real spirit person. If you say, “There is no Satan, it’s all a fairy tale”, you have walked into a very deadly trap. Because that is exactly what Satan wants you to believe in order to destroy you. Just as there is God and He is completely good, there is also Satan, and Satan is completely evil. The mission of Satan is to kill, steal, and destroy lives. The mission of Jesus Christ is to save lives. (John 10:1-15)

Satan hates you, but God loves you! God loves you so much. God loves us all. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for us. At the beginning when God created the world, He gave Adam and Eve, the first human parents, the choice to obey Him or disobey Him. If they obeyed God they and their children would live in peace and prosperity forever with God. They will never die. On the contrary, if they disobeyed God, they and their children would face extremely difficult times on earth, and they would die for their wrongdoing! Despite the clear warning of God, Adam and Eve disobeyed God. We are all facing the consequences today! Everyone is born with an instinct to disobey God, and to cause harm and do evil. We have all fallen short of the standards of God because of our human nature! We all do what is wrong despite our best efforts to do what is right. The Bible calls every wrongdoing “sin”. Our only way out of the habit of sinning is to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour!

This is the good news: Jesus Christ has paid the price for our rebellion against God. Now, we can go to God and ask for forgiveness of all our sins on the basis of the blood of Jesus Christ which was shed for us on the cross. The fact is, unless you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you will die in your sin. And if that should happen to you, you will find yourself in a place called hell! Hell is the place where Satan lives, and everyone that rejects Jesus Christ will have to be sent there.

God does not want you to go to hell. God wants you to know Jesus Christ and to accept Him as your Saviour. He is able to save you if you place your faith in Him. Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, but died on the cross in order to save you from going to hell for your wrongdoing. Because God is holy and pure, you cannot have eternal life except you are washed clean from every sin. Nothing can wash you clean, there is no way out for anyone of us, unless we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. It is the blood of Jesus that washes us clean from every sin. If you place your faith in Jesus Christ and ask God to forgive you your sin, and you pray for God’s Holy Spirit to come into your life so that you become “born again”, you will be saved.

Listen, there is no need for anyone to go to hell. If you will accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour today, you will be saved! You will have a good life here on earth, and when you die, you will have a place with Jesus Christ in heaven. God lives in Heaven, Satan lives in hell. Heaven is a place of great beauty and peace; hell is a place of great pain and sorrow. No two places can be more different than heaven and hell. Heaven is meant for you, if you accept the peace and forgiveness that God offers you through His Son Jesus Christ. Hell is the place for everyone that rejects Jesus Christ.
